Terms & Conditions
Please read our description and terms of business carefully. Our terms and conditions are set out to not waste your time, so please read very carefully. We will always try to be as helpful as possible.

Vehicles
1.1 The description of the vehicle is as set out on the seller’s website (www.hclcarsales.co.uk) or third-party websites. No descriptions of the vehicles shall be binding on the seller and are intended as a guide only.
1.2 Whilst every effort has been made to ensure accuracy of the information provided, we recommend to always check the vehicle specification and mileage with the sales representative.
1.3 The seller reserves the right to make any changes in the vehicle specification information.
Inspection of vehicles
2.1 The buyer is under a duty to inspect the vehicle on delivery or collection.
2.2 If the buyer identifies any damage or shortages, they must inform the seller in writing within 24 hours of delivery, providing details of the alleged damage or shortages. The seller shall not be liable if the buyer fails to provide such notice.
Deposit
3.1 A viewing deposit can be placed to reserve the car for 7 days prior to viewing.
3.2 The customer is entitled to a deposit refund providing they attend the agreed viewing. If the customer fails to attend the agreed viewing, the deposit is non-refundable.
Payment
4.1 The buyer shall pay the price stated in the invoice prior to taking delivery of the vehicle.
4.2 If the buyer fails to make the full payment after paying the holding deposit, the agreement shall be forfeited after 24 hours of the agreed payment date, and no refund will be paid.
4.3 Payment of the vehicle must be made in pounds sterling £. We accept UK Visa Debit cards, Metro Bank Mastercard Debit card; Direct Transfer and Cash (up to £2000).

Returns
5.1 The buyer should email after sales support on info@hclcarsales.co.uk to share their concerns, along with any evidence supporting their claim.
5.2 Vehicles may not be returned without the prior written agreement from the seller.
5.3 The buyer can reject a defective vehicle within 30 days from the date of purchase provided that:
(a) The fault was pre-existing prior to the buyer collecting or receiving the vehicle
(b) The seller has carried out the diagnostics at HCL and is unable to fix the fault. No third-party diagnostics with be considered. HCL will not compensate any initiatives taken by the buyer prior to agreement.
(c) The buyer bears the cost of returning the vehicle, including recovery costs.
(d) The return is subject to an administrative charge of 5% of the invoice value, as well as a deduction of any additional mileage beyond 500 miles test drive limit at 45 pence + VAT per mile.
5.4 The seller is not liable for defects arising out of wear and tear, the buyer’s failure to follow any instruction given by the seller, misuse, negligence.
